Our Promise

Being handed a tough diagnosis of a chronic condition from a doctor is difficult; having to manage a complicated medication regime—even harder.
But with us on your side, you can rest assured that someone who cares will guide you through every step of the way!

Our Services

At Community Specialty Pharmacy, we can fill any prescriptions your physician recommends. We also are able to fill rare or difficult to find medications. Our inventory includes an array of oral medications, self-injectables and other supportive therapies.
As our name implies, we are a specialty pharmacy first and foremost. This means that we have the expertise to provide specialized care for patients suffering from the following chronic conditions:

Receiving your medication

As soon as your prescription arrives at our pharmacy, you will get a phone call from our Patient Care Coordinator, who will schedule the delivery of your medication and talk you through the process. With your first delivery, you will receive a welcome kit that details our services and your rights as a patient.

Managing your medication

Any new medication comes with challenges. How do you give yourself an injection? What if you experience side effects? How do you stay on track and make sure you don’t miss any doses?

You can count on our PCC to patiently walk you through every question and guide you through the treatment process. We can also guide you to community resources and groups that help others in your condition.

Refill requests

When your prescription needs to be refilled, your Patient Care Coordinator will contact you to monitor your progress and confirm the address to which you would like your medications sent.

Reimbursements and Financial Issues

Even before starting treatment, your PCC will contact insurance companies on your behalf and find out, up front, how much your payments or co-payments will be. If at any point in your treatment you experience financial hardship, please inform your PCC. We can direct you to third-party programs or manufacturer programs that will help you stay with your treatment.
